Aya is a Moroccan 22 year old, slowly learning how to rebuild and take care of mother nature. They love TREES (big emphasis), calico critters, frog & salamander catching, cracker barrel, and their two cats, Cosmo & Molecule.
Tattooing is a spiritual and vulnerable practice; in their culture, the Amazigh marked their bodies with intricate symbols- triangles and sacred geometry as a way to express, protect and love themselves. As generations progressed and taboos surrounding ink formed, the sacred practice started to dwindle. Their portfolio is an effort to rebuild that empowerment and expression- while adding a natural twist to it.
They don’t tattoo just to tattoo. They tattoo to create memories- they do it because of the raw happiness they feel in their heart when you look in the mirror, admire and smile at the art that they and the client made together. °❀.ೃ࿔*
